PRESENTERS

 

Eliza Ramos

Eliza Ramos, MPH, MSW, is an award winning activist, healer, and advocate for social justice. She is the CEO of Circles International, a consulting group that helps social justice practitioners, teams and organizations prevent burnout and thrive. She has consulted with NGOs and governments in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Her writing and research on wellbeing and social justice has been published by the United Nations, North Shore LIJ Hospital, AIDS Center for Queens County, and the Columbia Social Work Review. Eliza holds an M.P.H. from Harvard University, and an M.S.W. from Columbia University. She is certified in mediation and conflict resolution, wilderness emergency medicine, and Reiki.

Lucy Odigie-Turley

Lucy Odigie-Turley leads The Opportunity Agenda’s communications research strategy and activities, including the assessment of public opinion, news media coverage, online media discourse, and popular culture as it relates to our initiatives and mission. Lucy holds a Ph.D. in Communication from American University, an M.A. from New York University in Africana Studies with a concentration in Global Journalism, and a B.A. in English from Queen Mary, University of London.
