Convening Overview.
The NCHE July 2024 Convening theme is “Embracing Our Shared Humanity: Bridging Perceived Divides.”
The convening aims to engage in inter-generational storytelling and discourse across various viewpoints, backgrounds, lived experiences, perspectives, and identities into purposeful discussion and shared learning. This conference will be participant-driven, with presentations, breakout sessions, and workshops for community leaders, luminaries, and changemakers to gather to network, share ideas, and chart a healthier nation that promises and delivers opportunities for all. The goals for the convening are to:
- Strengthen the intersecting movements of Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) and health equity.
- Enhance connections, networks, and relationships for local and national transformational work.
- Increase knowledge and understanding of skills, policies, and practices related to the intersecting movements of TRHT and health equity.
- Provide experiences that enhance well-being, reduce stress, and support healing.
Data-Driven Advocacy: Leveraging Information for Impactful Change | Concurrent Session

Our presenters will share examples and case studies to highlight the power of information and data-driven advocacy strategies, and how they can be leveraged to create impact in their communities and beyond.
Strategies for Fundraising and Development | Concurrent Session
