The purpose and for this think tank are to discuss health departments’ role in promoting health equity; to explore best and promising practices related to health equity in health departments; to develop a common understanding about key terms and definitions related to health equity; and, to make recommendations for Version 2.0 of the Standards and Measures to help advance health departments’ role in promoting health equity.
