The National Collaborative Mourns the Loss of Boston Mayor Thomas Menino

Mayor Menino was considered a visionary by many, particularly for his work to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in health. We were privileged to hear the Mayor speak at a PLACE MATTERS Action Lab held in Boston in April 2011. He spoke about his love for the city of Boston and commitment to social and racial justice. Our prayers go out to his friends and family and to the communities he served for 20 years.
